KONTAKT ist eine Studio-Software des Berliner Herstellers Native Instruments. Der Digital Grand ist eine so genannte Library für KONTAKT, bzw. KONTAKT Player. Der Digital Grand wird innerhalb der Software-Suite von Native Instruments zur Instrumenten-Bibliothek hinzugefügt.
Eine Bluetooth-MIDI-Verbindung erfolgt unter macOS mithilfe der App Audio-MIDI-Setup.
Die VARIO App läuft auf iPhones ab Baujahr 2015 (iPhone 6S), iPads ab 2017 (iPad 5. gen.) und Android OS 8.1 (z.B. Pixel 3a, Ende 2017).
